Holy Napoli

This flame guard is the real deal. Game changer in my book. I noticed an immediate difference on my first cook. Didn’t burn a single pizza whereas before I had to closely monitor the flame and continually adjust the flame so I didn’t burn the edges . This guard allows me to get a crispier undercarriage without undercooking or burning the edges. The flame rolls so much better with this guard which aids in cooking the top. Best aftermarket investment I have made to date. If you have a Gozney Arc this is a MUST!!!

Great with a small problem

Overal these are great. The only issue is that it actually sometimes drops towards the inside part, this does not happen to the oem part. In the attached photo you can see that the inside part on the right of the picture for the oem part is slightly larger than the other one, maybe that's the reason. I am also using a biscotto stone which is a little bit taller btw.

The difference in dimensions is due to the shield’s height. If the biscotto stone you are using is shorter (lower) than the OEM stone, this could be the issue. If it is taller, then there should be no problem.

Please make sure to place the shield until you feel it drop into place, it usually just requires moving it around by a few millimeters or fractions of an inch.

If you notice the shield dropping forward, make sure the oven is off and completely cold. With the help of a tool (to avoid burning your fingers), gently push the shield backward from the top and you should feel it lock into place.
